About Axel
Axel Knight is a filmmaker from Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Studies from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

He is primarily a director, having written and directed eight short films, including Fair and Foul (Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Director - UNLV 48 Hour Film Festival 2021) and I'm Here (Best Film, Best Director - Femmefest 48 Hour Film Festival 2022). He has also directed a few plays in the Las Vegas area, including a recent original adaptation written by himself of Sophocles's Antigone.

He is also an experienced sound designer, having trained under Professor Tom Bjelic at UNLV. He has designed sound for nine short films and two plays, winning the award for best sound for Jacob Peterson's Signs of Love at UNLV's Spring Flicks Film Festival 2021.

He is currently in post production on his debut feature film, Life Almost Gone, an apocalyptic drama film he wrote and directed during the pandemic.
